1. Roger Hickman's Restaurant, Upper St Giles Street (Book a table Here)
One of the wonderful things about being a local in Norwich is finding hidden gems like we found Roger Hickman's. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was - especially the homemade puddings made from scratch - and how friendly the staff were; they seemed like locals too.

There are only a handful of restaurants in the world that can boast such a prestigious status. One of these is Roger Hickman's Restaurant. The restaurant itself is small but magnificent – each dish seemingly designed with a purpose; there is always an exceptional selection of dishes on offer. As well as being superbly stylish and providing the perfect amount of entertainment for two people (me and my sweetie), Roger Hickman's Restaurant also happens to be one of the best things to do in Norwich – period.
