Parking is easy at the property, with space for two(2) vehicles in the driveway.
This is a video walkthrough on how to access 40 Victoria Street.
Victoria Street is one-way. As you leave the front door, turn right towards Grove Road. The opposite direction, towards St Stephen’s Road, is against the flow of traffic.
At the end of Victoria Street, it’s tempting to turn left towards the city centre. Between 7:30 am and 9:30 am that left turn is an active bus gate, and any car driving through it is automatically fined. During those hours, turn right only.
Outside 7:30 am to 9:30 am, left or right is fine.
The Key box is located on the left-hand side of the main entrance – pull down the flap to see the numbers. (You’ll receive an email with your key code and full check-in instructions before arrival.)

The inside bins are located in the kitchen area. The refuge bin is in the kitchen, and the recycling is in the narrow hallway off the kitchen.
Grey bins are collected every Thursday, Blue bins are collected every Friday.

We would love for you to have a risk-free break at the apartment, but there are a couple of points that would be useful to know during your stay.
In case of fire
There is a fire blanket on the corner in the kitchen area. If possible, do immediate first aid and firefighting measures, but don’t put yourself at risk of injury. If the fire cannot be controlled, then vacate the property, and if able, please close windows and doors to control the spread of the fire. Then call 999 immediately.
Use the nearest exit and make your way to the roadside away from the building
Whilst it is unlikely that you will need to evacuate the building, for your safety, we would suggest that you locate the above safety measures soon after your arrival.
*There are no scheduled fire alarm tests during guest stays, so if you hear an alarm, it is the real thing.
In case of a Carbon Monoxide Alarm sounding
Evacuate the home immediately. If you are feeling unwell, call 999 if it is an emergency.
If there are gas appliances in the property, do NOT smoke, do NOT turn light switches on or off, and DO NOT do anything to create a spark
Please call our emergency number outside of hours to advise us of the issue.
In case of a flood
Should there be a need to turn off the water within the property, the main stop cock tap can be located under the kitchen sink.
In the case of electrical supply
The fuse box is located in the small cupboard to the right as you walk in through the entrance. Please call Ginger & Gold Customer Service for assistance.
First Aid
There is a first-aid kit in the kitchen under the sink. Please use what you need and message us so we can replace items for our future guests.
