Windows
For your safety, the windows in the apartment are fitted with restrictors and can only be opened from the top. This is to prevent the risk of falling, especially in higher-level apartments.
The windows are also covered with mirrored film to maintain your privacy during the day. Please note, visibility from the outside may increase slightly at night if the main lights are on. To support a cosy and private atmosphere, we’ve used low-wattage ambient lighting and also provided lamps for a more relaxing mood.
How to Open and Close the Window:
⚠ Please avoid using force or attempting to open the window fully, as this will cause damage.
For your comfort, several fans have been provided should you wish to use them to help cool the apartment.

We would love for you to have a risk-free break at the apartment, but there are a couple of points
that would be useful to know during your stay.
In case of fire
There is a fire blanket provided within the kitchen area. Please can you also note that there is a fire exit that is accessible on each floor. On the second floor, when departing the lobby area, process straight ahead and it is the first door on the right. It is labelled as a fire door as it has the ‘Green running man’ symbol. When in this area, follow the staircase down and whilst it does wind its way throughout the building, you will eventually exit the building onto Castle Meadow and near the main door.
Important note: As the building is also occupied by retail outlets, should you go through any of the fire doors, for the resident’s security there is no means to re-enter the residential area as there is no handle. In the unlikely event that you find yourself ‘locked in’ the fire escape, you will need to proceed down the staircase and exit the building and then re-enter as normal.
In case of Carbon Monoxide Alarm sounding
Evacuate the home immediately. If you are feeling unwell call 999 if it is an emergency.
If there are gas appliances in the property do NOT smoke, do NOT turn light switches on or off and
do NOT do anything to create a spark
Please call our emergency number outside of hours to advise us of the issue.
In case of flood
Should there be a need to turn off the water within the apartment, this can be located under the sink in the kitchen.
In the case of electrical supply
The consumer unit (fuse box) can be found above the washing machine. Should any power need to be restored, please check the consumer unit first.
First Aid
There is a first-aid kit in the kitchen cupboard on the left of the oven. Please use what you need and message us so we can replace items for our future guests.
Camera
There is a camera located in the lobby area.
